چکیده

Abstract In this study, a coupling model of fluid-conveying pipes made functionally graded materials (FGMs) with NiTiNOL-steel (NiTi-ST) for vibration absorption is investigated. The responses the FGM pipe NiTi-ST are studied by Galerkin truncation method (GTM) and harmonic balance (HBM). solutions numerical results consistent. Also, linearized stability structure determined. effects parameters on performance also studied. show that an effective means absorption. Furthermore, in studying effect NiTi-ST, closed detached response (CDR) first observed. It noteworthy CDR may dramatically change amplitude determine emergence or disappearance CDR. This device can be extended to offer more general control engineering applications.

Flow-Induced Vibration Analysis of Supported Pipes Conveying Pulsating Fluid Using Precise Integration Method

Dynamic analysis of supported pipes conveying pulsating fluid is investigated in Hamiltonian system using precise integration method PIM . First, symplectic canonical equations of supported pipes are deduced with state variable vectors composed of displacement and momentum. Then, PIM with linear interpolation formula is proposed to solve these equations. Finally, this approach’s precision is te...

Nonlocal Vibration of Embedded Coupled CNTs Conveying Fluid Under Thermo-Magnetic Fields Via Ritz Method

In this work, nonlocal vibration of double of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) system conveying fluid coupled by visco-Pasternak medium is carried out based on nonlocal elasticity theory where CNTs are placed in uniform temperature change and magnetic field. Considering Euler-Bernoulli beam (EBB) model and Knudsen number, the governing equations of motion are discretized and Ritz method is applied to ob...

Stability Optimization of Functionally Graded Pipes Conveying Fluid

This paper presents an exact analytical model for optimizing stability of thin-walled, composite, functionally graded pipes conveying fluid. The critical flow velocity at which divergence occurs is maximized for a specified total structural mass in order to ensure the economic feasibility of the attained optimum designs. The composition of the material of construction is optimized by defining t...

Health Monitoring of Welded Steel Pipes by Vibration Analysis

In the present work, structure health monitoring (SHM) of welded steel pipes was used to diagnosis their state via vibration based damage detection techniques. The dynamic quantities such as Frequency Response Functions (FRFs), mode shapes and modal parameters from structural vibration to detect damage were measured, set on linear averaging mode, with a maximum frequency of analysis of 3.2 kHz....
